The bow models for youth are not toys, but a lethal
piece of archery equipment that will propel an arrow
capable of doing potential damage and should be used
only with adult supervision. For those that will be
new to archery, the archery experience can turn into
a lifetime of fun and recreation.
Why Black Rhino™
Bows are the right choice
Much thought and work has gone into the design
of the Black Rhino™ bows.
These bows are specifically
designed and handcrafted for kids, youth, ladies
and those adults desiring a light draw weight
or starter bow with models suitable for ages 3
years old and up. Short draw lengths were taken
into consideration when designing limb configuration
and limb length.
We build all our youth
bows here in the USA in our own shop from
like materials, as we have determined that our
selection is not only the strongest but also aesthetically
appealing. By using materials common to all models
we are able to purchase in bulk and provide our
customers outstanding products at reasonable and
affordable prices. The Black Rhino™ bows
are warranted
for one year.
There are five model lengths
to choose from, with draw weights ranging from
9 pounds to 40 pounds. Black Rhino™ longbows
are handcrafted and kept in inventory. Most
bows are shipped on the next business day and all Black
Rhino™ bows are warranted for one year from
date of purchase.

Handcrafted Quality
Black Rhino™ bows are
made with hard maple as the core wood. Hard maple
has been time proven as an outstanding bow wood.
It also provides a nice contrast between the black
fiberglass facing and backing. Action wood was chosen for the riser and matching
tip overlays. Action wood is made from multiple
strips of dyed maple glued together to form a
riser block. Because of the lamination process,
the riser is extremely strong and stable. The
wavy grain in the riser created by these multiple
laminations is extremely attractive. All of these
materials come together to form a handsome bow
that will withstand hard use. As a final touch
the Black Rhino™ receives three coats of
a diffused, high endurance finish, which will
resist scratching and chipping. All Black Rhino™
bows are
warranted for one year from date of purchase.
All bow
models have a locator style handle for constancy
of grip, contributing to accurate shooting.
Attention to fade out construction
is the same found in a custom bow giving a smooth
transition from the limb to the riser.
The
fine detail of the string nocks is highlighted
with Action wood overlays to match the riser.
The
arrow shelf of the Black Rhino™ is shaped
in a radius, giving good feather clearance, so
that an arrow can be shot directly off the shelf.
The plate is also relieved on both ends to give
feather clearance. The junction of the shelf and
plate is formed in a cove to add strength. A shelf
rug is furnished with each bow, but not shown
in this picture.
Black
Rhino Bow Models
All bows come complete
with a B-50 flemish bow string,brass nock set
and arrow rest and are available for right or
left hand shooters. A right
hand bow is held in the left hand and the string
is pulled with the right hand.This is reversed
for a left hand bow. All bow models
have a locator grip for positive hand placement.
Bow prices include federal excise taxes.
*Note:
Age groups used in the
bow descriptions are broad guidelines and can
vary depending on the physical make up and capabilities
of each individual. These guide lines are given
as sometimes it is not possible to measure the
draw length of the archer. To determine the bow
that is ideally suited for the individual it is
best to determine
their dominant eye and measure
their draw length, and then consult the table
showing the approximate weight of each bow at
that draw length. Our liberal return
policy allows for the exchange of incorrectly
selected bows.
Do
you need a bow stringer? We recommend the
use of a bow stringer on all M-54 and M-58 models,
and on any smaller models if you don't feel
comfortable stringing by hand. The bow

M-35
A traditional, straight limb bow measuring 35
inches nock to nock. This bow is for ages 2-3
years old and up to 18" draw length. A great entry bow for the peewee
archer. The maximum draw weight for this model
bow is 9 pounds.

draws approximately 15 pounds at 20 inches, and
is 42 inches long.

This bow model draws approximately 20 pounds at
22 inches. It is suitable for a broad range of
youth, but commonly used between the ages of 7
and 12. The bow is 48 inches long with limbs that
are of the reflex-deflex design.

M-48
Light This bow model draws approximately
15 pounds at
22 inches. It is suitable for a broad range of
youth, but commonly used between the ages of 7
and 12. This lighter bow is a good choice for
first time archers who may need a lighter draw at
22 inches than the 20# @22" M 48.
The bow is 48 inches long with limbs that are of
the reflex-deflex design.

This bow model draws approximately 25 pounds at
26 inches. It is suitable for a broad range of
youth and ladies. This is an excellent bow
for archery camps and training programs. The
handle on this bow is the same as the M 58
model. The bow is 54 inches long with limbs
that are of the reflex-deflex design.

M-58
The M-58 has a reflex-deflex limb configuration
and is 58 inches long from nock to nock. The
bow
is designed for a smooth draw all the way to
the maximum draw of 28 inches. This bow is
suitable
for youth, women, and adults who want a light
draw weight or starter bow. The M-58 comes
in
two weight categories (Check
the draw chart for bow weights at individual
draw lengths.)
M-58
Option 1. 35 pounds at 28 inch maximum
draw length. At 22 inches this bow draws approximately
20 pounds. This bow may be a legal hunting bow
in some states. (Check your state regulatioins)
This bow is ideal for the archer who is interested
mainly in target shooting. Looking at the draw
weight chart you will see that this bow is
very versatile as it fits a large range of youth
and adult archers

M-58
Option 2. 40 pounds at 28 inch maximum
draw length. At 22 inch draw this bow is rated
at 25 pounds draw weight. This bow is designed
to be a legal hunting bow in states requiring
a 40 pounds or more draw weight. (Check your state

M-58 Option 3. 29 pounds at 28 inch

rated at 17 pounds draw weight.

M-58
Custom. The M-58 Custom has a reflex-deflex
limb configuration and is 58 inches long from nock
to nock. The bow is designed for a smooth draw all
the way to the maximum draw of 28 inches. This is
the same bow design as the standard M 58 with the
exception that we have used 2 black locust laminations, 1
maple lamination, and clear fiberglass. These
great looking bows are available in random weights
from 29#@28" up to 45#@28". Call

weight can be ordered with a 4-8 week waiting
period.

Rhino
Grips
Bow handles can be wrapped with a one piece, flexible,
and semi-permanent Rhino Grip. This tough polyolefin
material provides a non-slip surface.
Available in your
choice of colors pictured from top to bottom.
